THE CORE ANALYSIS OF DOWN SCALE NPP TYPE PBMR (PEBBLE BED MODULAR REACTOR) 30 MWe USING COMPUTER CODE MCNP-5. The neutron effectively folding factor (keff), and core temperature reactivity coefficient HTR PBMR type reactor 30 MWe fuel Uranium dioxide (UO2) is coated by Porous Carbon (C), Inner Pyrolitic Carbon (I-PyC), Silicon Carbon (SiC), Outer Pyrolitic Carbon (O-PyC) which cooled helium gas have been analyzed. HTR PBMR reactor is a cylinder with height 8.52 m and diameter of 3.5 m. Analysis of axial core temperature distribution is done by dividing reactor become 5 channels and 57 layers. Calculation value of keff is done by using MCNP 5 with fuel enrichment variation 5%, 5.1%, 5.2%, 5.3%, 5.4%, 5.5%, 5.6%, 5.7%, 5.8%, 5.9%, 6%, and 6.2%. Critical condition was obtained when the fuel enrichment of 5,575%, the value of keff is 1, and the reactivity coefficient of the reactor is αT= -10,4427 x10-5 %/K. Reactivity coefficient value is negative so that the HTR PBMR reactor design has a high safety criteria.
